The road is land transportation infrastructure that includes all parts of the road, including complementary buildings and equipment intended for traffic. D where the road is very helpful enable people to make the shift from one place to another. Pavement Kaku is where the pavement is composed of Portland cement concrete slab and the foundation layer (bias also does not exist) on the land base. Concrete pavement modulul rigid and have high elasticity, will distribute the load to the field of land area that is wide enough, so that the largest part of the capacity of the pavement structure was obtained from the concrete slab itself. The road is planned by the author in this thesis is the improvement of arterial roads Magelang - Semarang from flexible to rigid pavement pavement along the 1.5km covers (STA 11 + 040 - STA 12 + 540). Planning a road covering various aspects including physical forms of road geometry, Planning rigid pavement layer (Rigid), with at tingkatkannya physical shape and coating of the road is expected to meet the capacity requirements road till the time planned and the road is expected durable so that it can save the budget in road construction.
