This research is motivated by a phenomenon that every adult is required to run obligatory prayers but the majority of the community of beggars not run adult age obligatory prayers but most of them run the obligatory prayers on the sidelines of his profession as a beggar. In this case, researchers wanted to know about the community's perception of beggars on the obligatory prayers in Barak Bhakti Tulungagung.
The study focused on this study were (1) What is the meaning of worship obligatory prayer for the community of beggars? (2) What are the factors that influence the perception of the community of beggars obligatory prayers? (3) What about the impact on the community's perception of beggars on the obligatory prayers? (4) How do you feel after running a beggar society or not to practice obligatory prayers? As for the objectives of this study were (1) To determine the meaning of prayers obligatory for the community of beggars (2) To determine the factors that influence the perception of a community of beggars to worship obligatory prayers (3) To determine the impact of the perception of a community of beggars to worship the obligatory prayers (4) To know the beggar community feeling after running or not running the obligatory prayers
in this study kind of research is qualitative research. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses five members, namely four women and one man who lived in shelters Barak Bhakti who works as a beggar.
The results showed that the community of beggars meaning of worship obligatory prayers in different ways in the form looked prayers shall be able to reduce the time to work and care for children. While other meanings different considers it important to perform obligatory prayers on the sidelines of his profession as a beggar and a way of life in the world and be a provision in the afterlife. The factors that influence the community's perception of beggars is work done from morning to evening, educational background, experience and environment shelters Barak Bhakti majority do not run the obligatory prayers. As for the impact of the perception of a community of beggars to worship obligatory prayers is a beggar who interpret worship obligatory prayers can reduce the time to work that is not to practice the obligatory prayers, while the beggars who interpret worship obligatory prayer is important to run the run the worship obligatory prayers regularly on the sidelines of busy work , The feeling of community beggars to practice obligatory prayers that do not feel good while running the obligatory prayers feel sad and will attempt to run in the future.
