Usaha kecil merupakan suatu kegiatan yang strategis bagi masyarakat menengah ke bawah khususnya di desa Lampur karena masih memiliki bahan baku yang banyak di sekitar mereka, tingginya permintaan konsumen akan tikar pandan hutan tidak di dukung oleh alat bantu untuk mengolah daun pandan hutan menjadi bahan yang siap di anyam. Industri kerajinan anyaman pandan hutan di Desa Lampur Kecamatan Sungai Selan Kabupaten Bangka Tengah memiliki keunikan dan kekhasan teknik pembuatannya yaitu sistem menganyam, para perajin berhasil memproduksi berbagai jenis produk anyaman yang memiliki nilai guna dan estetis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu alat pelemas dan pembelah daun pandan hutan dengan ukuran 3mm dan 6mm. Dengan sistem pembelah mie berpasangan dengan jarak celah yang dapat di atur, dengan kapasitas 50 lembar yang belum di proses dalam satu jam. Adapun tujuan pengembangan usaha kecil adalah pemerataan dan peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat tersebut. Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan yaitu tikar dengan ukuran 2 meter x 1 meter.
